Jo is a professionally trained dancer with over 20 years’ experience in teaching dance in schools and theatre companies across West Sussex. Her passion for movement has facilitated her transition into the mindful practice of yoga teaching, sparking a new journey of discovery and dedication.
Jo originally began practicing yoga as a way to help alleviate stress and anxiety. She decided to turn that passion into a vocation by completing 200 hours yoga training with Sussex Yoga (SYT).
In Jo’s classes, students are invited to explore graceful transitions, mindful alignment, and a deeper connection to their breath. Rooted in Hatha and flow styles, each session is designed to cultivate inner strength, enhance flexibility and mobility, and nurture a sense of presence and peace on the mat.
Jo creates a supportive and welcoming space where everybody is honoured, and movement becomes a pathway to wellbeing.
